O.T.- Anyone out here into Fantasy Baseball?
I'm in my fourth year now with one of my friends from work & his buddies. FBB is more of a challenge than FFB IMHO. You need to constantly make adjustments to your lineups... especially when your 1B tries to false Chris Young after getting plunked! I find it enjoyable, but again more time consuming than FFB b/c I'm always looking at box scores, chats, & reading headlines to make sure none of my guys are headed for the DL. My best pick ups this year from the waiver wires were Corey Hart & Reggie Willits... I thought it was Lincecum, but he's not doing so well of late. I wish I had jumped on Pence... but I was skeptical... now I'm regretful.
Anybody else play FBB?
I'm sure some people read a variation of this article:

Yeah, I was lucky enough to draft well. I drafted ryan howard and prince fielder early. My league mates were like, why are you taking fielder so high when he's not proven? I said you'll see. Also took a rick on Papelbon, since i knew Boston did'nt commit to a closer during spring training. So i wasn't sure if it was Okajima or Papelbon.
Anyway, this is my 3rd season, and i agree with you on all points. Alot of people cannot stay focused during 162 games of the season, plus playoffs if you qualify for that. But i love it. This is the first year my league is playing head-to-head, and i gotta say it's different. You will have good weeks and bad ones, but when going heads-up, you could have a great 6x6 stat week, and still lose for the week 2-10.
Anyway good luck this season, and keep it rolling. I just pulled into 2nd place thnis morning, so I'm pretty stoked!
