Visual inspection is good, everything turns over by hand. Nothing impacted in a way it shouldn't. Basically I'm going to go ahead and chance it, if something is wrong once it gets hooked up, it'll get torn apart and rebuilt anyway.

is the car auto or manual that you picked up?

when will you be doing the transplant? I'd like to know ASAP so I can get started on sourcing the money for my engine that is still available. Hopefully I'll be able to fly there and perform a leak down test on my engine so that I don't have to tear it all down.

Good luck!

Jon

It's auto. Of course I'm swapping in my 6spd tranny anyway.

But hopefully the swap can start soon. Most of the STi has been stripped down to bare metal.
