Lightbulb Notes for today

1. Pat, saw your great-looking wagon (I personally like the Morette's just the way they are. Now add anthracite or black wheels and you'll have a cool theme) on Wilikina. You were heading toward Kunia Road and I was heading toward Macomb Gate. Seriously, man. The car looks nice with those lights. I don't think I told you this before.

2. Won't be able to look at/listen to your car tonight. Going to Old Spaghetti Factory with the weef.

3. Dom, I got my parts and will put them in either late tonight or on Saturday (tomorrow is track night!!!) After that we can arrange a pick-up.

4. I actually prepped (minor preps, mind you) my car. I only put 1/2 a tank of gas into the car today, I will also take out the spare tire and all uneccessary crap out of the car before racing tomorrow. Maybe that will do something. Perhaps I can find some 'lene tonight to make some more improvement.

5. 115th (Us) beat 125th (them) at softball in the battle of the intel weenies.

6. My CEL magically went away on its own. I'm happy.

I finished backing up all my critical files, music videos and MP3's. The only thing I have left to do is the "other" stuff. Does anyone have a DVD burner I could borrow? I'll share.

edit: Where the hell can I buy Toulene? None at City Mill or Walmart in Mililani, and none at Lowe's in Waikele. I'm sure there is someplace in the ***-crack of Honolulu where I can find it, but is there someplace a bit more accessible? Yes, I'm whining.

Dude, I am exactly torn in half about my lights. I do like them the way they are, but I also like them completely painted, but I also like them with just the black strip and the rest painted...so I guess I'm torn in thirds.

I don't know what you're talking about with the Waikele Lowe's. I just got back from buying 2 gallons of xylene. ...that's what I got the 13 flat wit.

Finally did my own research on Xylene and Toluene. I always thought:

Toluene=Good
Xylene=Bad

This is wrong. After my research I have come to the conclusion:

Toluene=Good
Xylene=Good(er)

Guess both of them "dry" out the fuel, but not appreciably at 10-20%. Gonna go get some before the tracks tonight.

BTW: I'm going to be calling you, Pat.

I just put in a gallon of Xylene to just under a half tank of 92. Glad I read about the caustic nature of that stuff. I put a cloth over the paint under the gas tank, and I'm glad I did. My fuel can is not of the highest quality and dripped all over the drop cloth. None on the car, though!! See you all at the track.
