wait... before trying to diagnose the problem we don't even know what we're looking at here.

before any other questions answers are posted the original poster of this thread should list the following:


make?
model?
year?
auto or manual?
modificaitons done (electrical / engine / transmission)?
have you ever pulled a check engine light?
if so what were the codes?

edit: I just noticed that you posted you have a manual and stage 2. doesn't matter... just post what you got

I had a cel for my exhaust, cause catless. So ryan fixed it for me.

what CAI are you running. that might be a start... what is the RPM fluctuation? what RPM do you notice it at?

could it just be your boost and not necessarily your RPM? My car does something similar but it's my boost doing it. I'm not sure as to why but I have a feeling mine is due to my timing being off... I'll be fixing that shortly since I'll have to allocate the time to change my timing belt...etc.

I am running the AEM CAI, I notice the fluctuation from about 3K and up.Do you think I should change my intake?

are you running the cobb maps or protune maps?

I dont know why this is so hard.....it says right in the map notes that the cobb maps are not certified to work with ANY intakes other than stock. Even without the AP our cars don't like CAI's

Iam running the cobb stage 2 map. well when i bought the car it already had the cai installed. he didn't give me any of the stock parts, so i want to find a used stock intake. I hope thats the problem. thanks for you help guys your the best!!!
