I guess I need to figure out this torrent stuff, huh? Kazaa still works for me (for free, currently.) I'm probably going to jail, but I'm not using it that much.
What do I need to do to get started with torrent?

I think a lot of people use Azureus. I used to use the basic bittorrent client, but Azureus is somewhat more informative, and it gives you more control over everything. Basically you just install the client of your choice, go to a torrent site like Torrent Reactor http://www.torrentreactor.to/torrents/view_16748
and the Azureus client should automatically download it. I'm not sure how the uploading works, but when I first started using it, I got really slow downloads. But after a while, I left the downloads open to seed (basically sharing your bandwith) and I got faster and faster downloads. I'm not sure if your uploading is cumulative but it seems to be.
As for the little popups on the Torrentreactor site saying click YES to blah blah, just dont worry about it and keep clicking NO as its probably to install some spam on your comp.

yup...it's gone...
It happened about two weeks ago...I was bummed...I use Azureus as a client but mainly use ABC Client for the Torrent downloads...really simple.
You can still find Anime Torrent sites up...the main "all in one" torrent sites like Suprnova seemed to have all gotten shut down...they "The Man" must have scared the crud out of them...

Okay the MAN is way too week to shut these guys down. What probably happened is that the MPAA, microsoft, or someone else offered them a 6 figure + salary a year for just shutting their servers off. It just went down 4 days ago for me. I know there are other sites, but I don't like any of them as much as suprnova.
