Well, i picked up my nintendo Wii last night and i gotta say its awesome, there are a few things, but I'm "learning" To sum it up my neighbor saw me playing red steel, and he came over to see what the hell i was doing. after an hour he was still playing bowling, and this is an old filipino guy, so i think nintendo made a smart move this time, but then again we will see.

I heard some peeps say the ps3 wasnt worth the money they spent so i wanna har from those who may have gotten one or not?!

 

where'd you get it at and how much?

 

I reserved mine at pearl highlands gamestop and picked it up at midnight, i played it for 4 hours today, it cost me 370 with 2 games and a warranty package

250 for wii
100 for 2 games
20 for warranty

 

damn, that is a lot less that the ps3. pretty reasonably priced

i'll have to wait to get mine though. The only gave I really want right now is Zelda Twilight Princess!!!

I picked up the Nintendo and I have got to say that it's pretty awesome. I was planning to pick up the ps3 too, but lines were too long. The way you interact with games are amazing. A note to all users out there though... Adjust your settings accurately or your controller won't work that well.... OMG PPL GET ONE..

 

Apparently the PS3 launch titles kinda suck except for that one shooting game...but that should be solved once Grand Theft Auto, Ridge Racer and Gran Turismo come out.

So thus, I claim pwnage on all the fools that either sat in line for days (at least here in Ohio) or the fools that bought it on ebay for 2-4 times the street price.

I'm a wait until mid-next year to even consider buying one.

 

For me the only game that makes me want to get a PS3 is Resistance: Fall of Man. As for the Wii i havent seen much on it so i havent formed an opinion. As for the XBOX360, i want the game Gears of War and this other game that isnt out yet. Its the one where you play a a pair of mercs. The AI controls the other guy. For the life of me i cant remember the name of the game but i think it is for the 360.

 

ill stick to computer games Counter-Strike!!!

 

is it just me or does anybody else agree with me that the ps3 is overpriced? Especially with the same controller (tho wireless...wow) that they've essentially been using since ps1

 

the real games wont be out until later for both systems

just got back from CC they jut got 40 in stock, they had 38 left when i bought mine at 8pm.

the game you are talking about sounds like gears of war...if not then its army of two, itll be out for the 360 and ps3 sometime next year

 

If Im not mistaken; PS3 is being recall in Japan for something I was told today, cant remember.

Also Have you heard about all the stabbings, shootings, and even deaths. Due to the PS3 long line etc, etc... **** I'm gonna have to pack some heat and be on red status, just for a PS3 for the kids...insane!!!!
