Go ahead cut the springs and crash. Then I can laugh at you. Like we keep saying s.tech's are a waste of money, and if you are just looking for a drop then don't even ask our opinions. I had S.tech's and I can tell you that I hated them. There are tons of other springs that give a good drop and great performance. I listed them above.

Just has some Espelir ASD Springs installed...on my 04 STI Struts...

The specs are almost identical to the STI Pinks...The ride is firmer but not at all that harsh (The GT Springs are the stiff ones...)

The drop is 1.4" Front and .8" rear...it's not too low where I am scraping everything or anything like that.

Together with a newly purchased Perrin RSB and Perrin Endlinks...this car is a new beast around corners...I drive the Like Like Hwy everyday and find the corners to be easily handled now...I have the sway bar set on the lower of two settings for the sti and find the handling to be rather neutral...the pushing through the corners has decreased substantially...I really don't feel like my rear end is going to break lose either...nice feeling of control.

I dunno about some people, but for most people, buying a good suspension is a great investment. Yeah, you may not track the car, but you'll love the crispness and stability that it gives your car. Its almost a world of change.

As long as you go for a matched set, you should be pretty happy.

Also, when it comes down to what to buy first, you gotta think about what you can hold out on. That is, if you can wait on the uppipe and downpipe, buy the suspension. But if you can't wait and would really love the increased power from an up and down pipe, and can wait on the suspension, go ahead and grab da exhaust parts first.

But still.. whichever path you take, you'll be happy.

Only problem is.. There are a LOT of exhaust parts as well as suspension parts to choose from as far as brands go. Its a guessing game ..

if you want s techs get s techs. its your car, your money. you asked the opinion of others and got a response of what it would be like to use those springs. a lot of people like to experience things for themselves, instead of learning off of others.

jussssst like ordering from vividracing.

whiteline is the shizz. IMO, you need to decide what direction you want your car to go. speed (QM), handling (SCCA, Superlap). after that, come to us, someone can steer you in the right direction. If you want to test the limits of your car, then when modding you can see tghe difference that each part has made, rather than putting all these parts on, then guesssing on the improvements. Intelligent modding also cames into play as a factor too...
