ok you mention that you a have a cobb AP....do you have a protune or are you trying to use an off the shelf map (stage 1/2) with you current new mods? more details please
that might be the cause of it, thats a very important sensor i had to get a new one. when mine stop reading i had a fuel cut @ 4000 rpm hella weird. the sensor may have shorted out

Did you get new maps for the mods you installed?
Are you able to see the max boost you are hitting?
You need to get it tuned before you beat on it with those mods.
You might be having boost creep, if you have a full TBE, then you probably have it. A boost gauge will tell you what pressure you are at. Fuel cut occurs when the ECU senses boost in excess of 17.5psi for 2-3s. Do you know if you were getting fuel cut? It would be a very violent "stutter" from the engine that resembles extreme knock, followed by CEL.

I have a code reader. If you can come by the airport/nimitz area I will check it out for you today.
Check grounds. all on engine and ecu ground.
or sounds like it could be your speed sensor.....Does it start to cut out right around 4k?
