It seems to be the "Year of the 5-Door" All car companies have a 5-Door now. I just bought my first 5-door and wonder why i ever bought a sedan. I'm on my 3rd WRX. owned 2003, 2005, and now 2008. All silver.

It still looks lame to me. Although, It would look great if it was a sedan!
Again, Subaru doesn't really care about US.....remember they are changing their demographics now. WE are the PAST buyers, not the future ones.
My grandma did say she liked it though. Boy, that's a shocker. (they found their new buyers)

effin' dual exhaust...why? the 5-spoke wheels look like a mazda 3, and other people covered my other gripes. bring back the two-door and give us an STi option!
P.S. the fender flares look like a pugeot 207/ focus WRC in the front...perhaps for competition reasons? I hope so.

Dual exhausts would be hot if each side had its own header, exhaust pipe with x-over but I doubt this is the case, it's probably all combined into one pipe and the quad tips are just for show. All that means is aftermarket will cost more now.

I have to say that it's kind of growing on me. I really like the way this looks, especially after the blech look of the wrx. We'll have to see just how well it performs then...

I'm definitely torn. WRX looks like hell on wheels, the STI, I'm kind of diggin aspects of it
pluses:
front bumper much better than WRX
love the fenders
exhaust makes the back end look more symetrical
new wheels
minuses:
grille+headlights make it look like it has a unibrow
overalll shape is not to my taste
prius/rx300 tails FTL
