Haha yeah but then it would be fat and posh. I like Audis, they are fun. I liked them a lot more before I started checking weights. I have always wanted an S3, and they finally brought the A3 here, just the wrong version. The thing that gets me is that a loaded VR6 A3 weighs around 3700lbs. That flat blows me away. My cousin's '04 S4 Avant is over 4k. Nuts. AWESOME car, but wow.

Yeah, my old roommate had a fwd v6 a4, the owmers manual said it weighed like 4300lbs.

 

if the S4 came in a sedan version? It does - the wagon is quite rare. Or do you mean the S3 - which is a 3 door hatch, basically a golf that doesn't suck.

 

Isn't that nuts? My '97 4x4 LE Pathfinder with power leather everything weighed 4100lbs. I weighed it on the scale in San Jose. Incidentally my 2003 WRX was 3189 and my MR-2 Spyder was 2189!! Those rock... I want to weigh my RS one of these days..

 

ive seen the s4 in wagon form here on island (1 of only 2)....very nice car (as far as performance) i wouldnt drive one.

I'm getting closer and closer to getting one.

The only problem is that it is so high which actually is a positive too.

I might do a few small suspension things like sways and maybe coilovers.
