New guy with STi in Hawaii...
Aloha,
As with many new arrivals, I too am in the military, I came to Oahu on Sept. 9th to fly CH-53D Helicopters for the Marines. I have noticed an abundance of subaru's in my short time here, and just wanted to introduce myself to everyone.
My name is Luke, My 2004 WRB/silver STi arrived by ship, from Florida, on the 29th of Sept. So if you see an STi with a Florida plate running around, its me. I live in Kaneohe, near the Windward Mall. Email is lsf119usmc@yahoo.com
Looking forward to meeting some other Subaru enthusiasts on the island.

Thanks for all the welcomes.....One thing I noticed, in this most beautiful of states, 92 octane.....wasnt a shocker to me because I read about it before, but thought once I got here there had to be at least one place around that sold 93, but alas.
I love it here, but do miss the days back home in PA, of driving 2 miles into town to pick up SUNOCO 94 at 1.89/gal!!!!!!
One question, I have never heard detonation in my car yet(knock on wood), because it has always had 93 in it. After I picked up my STi at the port, (I had to drop it off for shipment from New Orleans with < 1/4 tank>....I did an idiot move and filled up with 92 on base....DOH! I am currently at 3/4 tank, and have researched peoples suggestions of Toluene/Xylene(sp) and MMO. Could this mixture be added currently, or is adding before a fill-up preferred?
Thanks
