Believe it or not parts are cheaper shipped than locally, and thats if you can find them. It's just part of the deal sadly.

I have a fender roller you can rent. Also best shops for alignment seems to be Island Brake and Alignment. Some have had bad service but most not. Parts. Online or try streamline performance. They also have a tuner, kai, who seems to be building up a rep.

Hey man welcome, hope to see you at the meats some time, they are tons of fun, just watch out for josh to post up the next meats location. As for tuning, pdx and ams are coming in July to rads but I'm not sure if there are any spots open or not just check the thread. And your best bet for parts is either on the forum or online through Cobb, Perrin, invidia, nameless, you get the picture. I'm far from the most educated and old school members but ill try to help out as much as possible, once again welcome!!!!!!!!

Cobb offers free shipping if you can wait a week and offer 15% for military. Welcome to i-club hawaii and hope to see you around!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

Again, thanks for the input. I don't have parts yet to actually get a tune but need a heads up. I already got wheels on the way. Looking to get a nice set of tires and placed an order for coils. Hence the fender roller. PSbeachbum ill get back to you on that later on.

Welcome!
Parts, shaggadelic can get parts , just look up his username and send a PM with a description and part #.

Tuning wise, PDX(Jared) and AMS(Chris Black) come down every 4-6 months pretty much.

Alignment: Island Brake and Alignment in Aiea, nuff said.

https://www.tirerack.com/ for tires. don't rush into it. there's a lot of mistakes to be made and quite a few dependencies when it comes to getting what you want so make sure you research well before you buy anything. come to the meet and ask questions, search the net, check, and double check. create a plan for what you want HP, TQ, and handling based on what you're going to do with your car. shop for parts that will help you reach that goal but make sure they work well together or you'll just be wasting $.

04Sleeper- I have a solid plan for the car. This is my 4th vehicle that I've owned. I learned through trial and error with the previous cars. This is my DD so power is going to be moderate/conservative. I'm more into balance and hardcore suspension junkie. But ill be sure come down to the meets and chill.

I-club members- To the rest of you guys, thank you! 3 years here will go by fast.

Does anybody know the suspension height law? I heard coilovers will not pass Safety and something about a 2inch bounce rule. This place is just as bad Cali.
