^^^ I agree with Mark on that one.. Center Pod that replaces the Clock is a much cleaner setup and plus it hides the Wires very nicely as compared to the A-Piller pods IMO. Or your could get the Zerosport Center Pod which allows you to keep your Clock in tact.

idk, i kinda like the a-pillar look, wouldn''t it be easier to glance up at the a-pillar rather than over by the clock, i know its not much of a difference but it seems that it is just closer to glance up rater than over

i have three gauges in mounting cups on top of my clock, so i retained it. I'm like an old man with my clock and my arm rest extension.

depending on what you need...
i personally am not a big fan of gauges. i dont have to constantly see that my battery is 11.9-12.9 V. if you want something really simple, IMHO, just have what is important to you visible at a glance (boost (*mainly), egt, temp). otherwise, keep your eye on the road and not on the pretty colorful gauges (no punt intended).

for my other readings, i have a informeter set up by my fuses for all the OTHER important gauges.

then again, UP TO YOU> =D hope that helps

I agree with everyone else...
Clocks are cleaner. Gauges are more showy.
Just depends what you want your car to feel like.

Additional to the clean look the clock gauges provide, you will also replace the clock which is a very good thing considering that Impreza clocks break down within 5-6 years.

When mine stopped working after 5 years, I did a search around and found it was a very common problem with Imprezas.

The clock started acting weird flickering on and off and sometimes doesn't work. After a year of that happening, it completely broke.

I recently had my Defi Center Guage Pod Installed with some Saga 60mm guages. (I originaly had white guages before, but I recently had them switched to red instead to match the STi cluster) Looks very clean and OEM'ish. I also have the A-Pillar guage pod (It's sitting at home, collecting dust) I tryed it out for afew days, but a honda drove by with the same "fast and the furious" setup as me, so I removed it as soon as I got home that day. Plus with 60mm guages, having them on the a-Pillar theres a contant "glow" on the left side of your field of view. It gets annoying.....
