Need HELP

I bought my 2011 WRX with a tune in it an recently had to completely reset my ECU. Anyone have a tune they can sell??

zer0shift Mar 16, 2014 11:51 AM

What type of tune do you need? If its just a cobb accessport stage tune you can just go to there website and download it.

I don't have a Cobb or any tuner. Was hoping someone on here in Hawaii had one to sell or one they can just plug up real quick to tune my car

So you're looking to buy an accessport?

theoutbackdream Mar 16, 2014 12:47 PM

you will need an accessport or tactrix cable to change maps.

Personally, I would get a tune from Eric at Torque Performance. I currently run his custom e-tune, and car feels so much better when compared to stock or OTS map from cobb.

Yea I'm looking to buy one an how much does he charge for the e-tune

Your tune shouldn't have dropped. Unless it was a real time map, does Cobb still do those? If u reset you ecu if it was open source tuned or Cobb ap or any EM it should have defaulted back to the tuned map that was loaded/written to the ecu. For you to have a stock tune you would have had to write the ecu somehow with a stock tune. If your car feels different (stock feeling or less power). It's cause your car is relearning your driving habits.

Also depends if previous owner did a reflash or real time. :/

It's driving different for sure. I was pushing 20lbs of boost after all this mess I'm now at 12lbs. Runs fine just I can tell a huge difference in my car. I just now ordered the tactrix cable but if anyone has anything to help out good god I need it.lol

Also if anyone has any extra or space aftermarket parts they want to sell that will fit a 2011 WRX.. Hit me up indeed.

Are u sure it's the tune? 12lbs sounds low for stock.

leckcorker Mar 16, 2014 01:32 PM

It's gotta be cause I have not changed anything. When we reset my ECU/car completely that's what I'm at now

+1
that is low. Stock tune should be hitting 14psi IIRC.

Even if you reset your car and the map was flashed by "Real Time" and reverted to stock, you should be hitting 14psi...
