need help!

hey guys well i just wanted to know is there any other shops on the island that can rebuild a wrx block. reason being i have a spun bearing n looking to fix it but for a reasonable price. i know theres vakamon. but was just looking around. lmk thankss

Call around at other machine shops. A spun rod bearing could be done by many capable shops. My uncle has a motor at snyders being rebuilt, and i have used them once in a pinch. Yellow pages also works wonders. Get some quotes. What did vakamon quote you??

Or you could just buy a wrecked suby from IAA and yank the motor.
