You have to clean off the brake dust. The stock pads will squeak like a **** especially backing up.

Your car is still stock right?

Take it to Subaru and tell them to do it!

it's exactly what I told you it was in person... LOL

take the pads off to see if the pad is lower than the indicator or at the same height. If it is then replace the pads. If it isn't I'd say get some sand paper (medium grit) and sand it down to remove the glaze and reinstall and try them out again.

becasue your rotor has that marking that I showed you on it I'd day that it was your pads...

Sometimes after some rainy or driving over some gravel type roads can get some pebbles between the pad and rotors,..

If your pads are not old and got alot of material left (check indicator), then check to make sure the debris isnt "scoring or gouging" your rotor,..Pull off caliper and clean off rotor and wipe pad off if you want to get rid of the squeeling. I would even use some light sandpaper to clean off rotor too and spray with brakeclean and reinstall,..

Most times though, normal driving will dislodge the debris between the pad and rotor,..but just check to make sure its not doing any damage and do the above,..no biggie,..just shame when you come to a stoplight and people look at you,..
