Need "Hawaiian" music.
Hey, I need your help. I am editing a video and need "Hawaiian" music.
The client wouldn't be more specific probably because they don't know what they are talking about. They just said "Hawaiian" music.
I am going to assume they want slack-key or ukulele probably with some vocals, but since I don't know what I am looking for, and I don't want to spend a fortune on CD's to find out I bought crap, I need your help.
Where better to look than the Hawaii forum, right? Can you guys recommend some nice traditional Hawaiian CD's or artists? My parents had a slack-key CD, but it turned out to be a bunch of new-age crap...
Help!!!
Thanks,
Ryan

Cyril and Gaby Pahinui. Dennis Kamakahi, Ledward Kaapana, Ray Kane, Keola Beamer. Those are the traditional slack key virtuosos...
