Who's trading what for what?

It sounds like someone wants to trade the STi for a 350Z...is that correct?

Well, if you can get a Magnus block essentially for free, I'd go for it.

WOW...so the STi is all working and the motor is just an added bonus? This means that you'll have 2 STi motors right?

So it's roughly a $28 - $29K car and an expensive motor for a 350Z?

What is on your brother's car?

If I'm wrong and the engine got pulled and sent to Magnus then you have a $28 - 29K car with an $8,200 engine that still needs to be installed for a roughly $33K car. (Correct me on the prices if I'm wrong)

Seems worth it I guess if the engine install is done well. That'll be a monster of a car no doubt. I'd do it since I don't like the 350Z anyways.

Last question...what Turbo is it coming with?

well the engine i believe is a rebuild but will be installed. i think it's a pretty good deal myself but i don't really like the 350z either. his z is a show car and sponcored by evo-r or something.http://evo-r.net/product/main/index.htm. he has all their parts a a lot more. tanabe ultra medalion exhaust, carbon fiber hood and engine dress up, too much to list or remeber. he bought the car for 29k so it would be a good trade financially speaking. i'm not sure what turbo yet, he has to ask the guy but can't be too bad considering what he's already got. i was more wondering if anyone knew about magnus and i guess that was answered. i'll tell him to go for it and convert him to the dark side. subies rule. No flame

intended, but if you're asking about the Magnus setup, you haven't done much Subaru homework. Phil from Turbo-XS was running major boost on his setup. Magnus is one of the companies I've looked at for some time. What is confusing is the actual trade. Car for car? Or does one party have to cough up with cash plus the car? If your brother gets the STI with all the goodies for the 350Z, go for it. But he has to be interested in speed over "show car" stuff. Hope that helps.

The guy has money with all the stuff he did to the STi and wants a 350z to twin turbo it and maybe put a widebody on it and drift. Its the popular thing to do and 350z tt's are awesome. I would trade it for the STi if all I had to give up was a stock 350 es. if I didn't plan to do much to the 350.

thanx san, no i don't really look into these kinds of things as my car is and will always be a daily driver. well the my bro's 350 is a show car and has a lot of goodies but no real engine work. it's also the racing edition which is i guess the best one. yes it is a straight trade, no cash. i told him it was probably a good trade provided the title is clean and he gets to drive it b4 he trades. thanx for the imput, L8R
