Need advice on Subie Autos...

So i am looking in to getting a DD and have found quite a bit of subies but they are all autotragic. I do not know what to make of the 4EAT's What are peoples experience with the autos? i have only owned one auto car in my career of cars and i am not a fan, im just worried with the AWD if its more problematic? Any input would be great. Thanks gang

Awesome thanks for the input guys, from what ive been reading thats what i have come to the conclusion about, apparently from what i was reading as well you don't replace the trans filter when doing fluid changes? and also read that you need to do auto trans changes alot more frequent?
