got my car to start today......it's about damn time.......now i can work on the putting everything back together

^^^^shoots when its put back together tho i gotta look for a new exhaust or us the rs one cause my old one the flanges don't line up

new problem i have a weird whining nosie coming from the engine can't figure out what it is it might be the tranny i hope not anyone wanna come by and help to source it would be really helpfull to me

UPDATE!!!! as some of u know i have been having a really bad whinning noise coming from my car... this has been going on for about a week now and we have sourced the problem to my tranny..... the car has not been drivin it is still sitting on the jack stands. so we now have to sorce a new tranny and also take the motor back out with the trany to put the new one in when i can get one.....
btw here was the problem: when i started my car i here a really bad whinning sound that i have never heard on any car b4. we checked everything about 3 to 5 times and when u rev it in park the noise gets louder. it makes the whinning in park/reverse/and nutral. but when u put t into drive it stops.
i went under my car and manualy shifted it and it still made the nosies in park reverse and nutral but not in drive. and when it gets put in drive the driveshaft starts out spinning really slow then picks up speed then slows down to almost a complete stop. and when in nutral the wheels just spin and u can't stop them.....
i'm not the happiest person right now i don't know what to do esp. cause i gotta find a new tranny. i would go MT tho that mean gota rewire the car so thats out.

don't give up, i say redo wiring and swap in a manual tranny in there, but on the other hand, what happened to your friends automatic tranny from his totaled rs? well good luck shaggy
