if you want pure speed, go with the STi
if you want luxury with a little speed go with the bimmer
if you want a performance car with a very good price, go with the WRX
dont get the m3, its a used car and itll have lots of problems. and BMW is gonna reveal a new redesigned 3series in mid 2004, and the 98 m3 is gonna look very obsolete.

yeah, listen to this guy, he obviously knows what he's talking about ...all used cars have lots of problems...that's why a lot of us look at used cars, as we want headaches and stress...if you can afford to buy new, then more power to you...new is always nice, as you have a warranty to cover your a$$...

personally, i dont believe cars become obsolete...i think they just get outdated...i have a 17 year old car that i bought used...it runs okay, and it was a good deal...i dont consider it obsolete, as it gets me from point a to point b just fine...

no matter what car you have, it'll be outdated sooner or later...it's just a matter of time...my car was the top shiznit back in the day, not anymore...

the *right* used car can be a GREAT value...am i telling you to buy mine?!? NO...just keep your eyes open for a great car at a great deal...

ps: if i could find a USED Z06 at the right price/condition, i'd buy it in a heartbeat...

Everyone would buy a 2003 M3 and not the E36 if the PRICE would be the same but in the real world, value of a car does drop.

WRX lova, you're mistaken. Scsi was one of the older WRX owners. He knows about the WRX. So far I know no one with a E46/E36 that complain about their car.

something is up this guy's ***. for your information my family owns two bmw's. bmw's and mercedes arent as durable as say a lexus or toyota. if you know cars, this should be common knowlege. and when something breaks, its not cheap to fix like a honda. bottom line, expensive cars are expensive to maintain. and why would anyone want to buy someone's used car when they can buy a perfect brand new onw(WRX).

Because that's their choice. You have an opinion and they can choose to do whatever they want....simple as that. I hope you're not up late at night worrying about it.

Because he might want an M3 and cant afford a new one, thats why. If I wanted a hi-end car and could get one used in great condition I would do it in a heartbeat. Same reason people would buy a couple year old WRX instead of a new Civic or something. Wouldnt you rather pay $16k for a couple year old WRX instead of a new weak-azz Civic even though the Civic is new? You would save a couple grand off a new WRX and have an awesome, but USED, car instead of a NEW civic. Just seems to make sense to me.
