hiccups, flashing c/c, and cel if my memory serves me right...I am almost certain you are experiencing a misfire.
go to checkers and ask to borrow the code grabber and read the code off of the ecu. that will tell you for sure if its a misfire.

might be a bit of boost surge. what engine mods you got? uphill+high gear+high revs=high boost. let hear what you got. if it drives normal and only does it when your ripping it uphill i'd say look at your boost. got a boost gauge?

if you are running rich and dont know the service history then my guess would be the plugs are starting to foul and cant keep up with the load. thats where i would start. well actually i would ditch your bov if you got one and then check the plugs.

^^^stock is a bpv not a bov. stock is fine but aftermarket atmospheric ones cause you to run rich. so you have a boost gauge right? when the problem happens did you look at the gauge to see if it was dancing around?

i use ngk irridiums but for your mods the stock ngk's are just dandy. cant remember the part number off the top of my head. the first thing you need to do is get the code pulled so you can find out what cylinders are missfiring and if that is even the problem.
