Well at least it wasn't broken into. But they did steal all my STI badging on my car. They tried to take the subaru Badge but it is still on there pretty tight. You know just wanted to you let you know just in case you see or hear some one bragging. Man, some ditz and the sorry azz coward who did this did it right in front of my house, This guy scratched up and made chips all over my trunk trying to badging, there are even some right by the screws on my wing... the wing off it looks like too.

my first "mod" on my car was to de-badge everything..did it my first day home...to avoid this sort of thing...

When the STI first hit the market in late 03 early 04, I heard lots of people saying their badges were getting forcibly removed with screwdrivers etc...then the problem seemed to go away...now with the new badging on the 06's..looks like it started back up again,

I would think twice about getting new badges put on unless the badges can hide those scratches and chips you have...

 

Now they steal our STi badges like how they steal the "H" on them Hondas b4... signs of things to come?!

Like Brent, that was the first thing that I did when I brought home my STi. Didn't want to give them the temptation. But alas, I got tired of looking at my car's bare azz and put them back on. sorry to hear i wanna debadge the rest of my car now. someone tried to break in my driver's side with a screwdriver. i haven't fixed it, but all my other things that has happened i have fixed in the two+ years of ownership of my car. if i hear anything i'll let you know. prolly some punk kid hatin" or crackhead that's my guess. be on the lookout for a sentra type sti cobra ralliart mugen powered primered POS is my best bet for finding this guy......

 

Thanks for the support. Yes it was at my house in Mililani. But not the Mauka side. I live mililani town center... Well the first day I leave my car out of the garage the first time they messed with it. Ok. well at least it will not cost me a arm and a leg to get it to look back to normal. Thanks guys.

 

if your alarm didnt even go off i'd raise hell with your alarm company

 

what alarm is it? i thought 05/06 came with the subaru upgraded alarm standard, thats what mine has, its sensitive enough to go off when someone dinged my door, but not sure if it would go off from stealing the emblems. :sadwavey:
