I'm a Mustang man, but for the money I'd take a Z06 in a heartbeat over the Cobra R. I'd end up with a truly streetable car, with all the normal street car amenities (not a stripped out race car for the street), and I would show tail lights to Cobra Rs on the track.
It really is unfortunate that the best Mustang that Ford could come up with costs so damn much and really doesn't perform. Give me a normal Cobra and the extra $20+K and I'll throw a full Griggs Racing suspension on the car, some Stoptech brakes, race seats, blah blah blah and I'll whip the R's ***.
