Hey Jayden and Blaise (Jayden AKA Brandon's son, Blaise AKA Brent's son)
are wanting to get into RC cars...and guess what, the dads (AKA Sponsors) need to learn more...
If you have Electric cars (dorifto style???) bring them out tonight please...and show us how to run them...
I picked up a 1/10 scale Subaru 04/05 WRC Car for Blaise...but it is nothing crazy...it is a Tamiya QD (Quick Drive) series...came with everything to run out of the box...so the controller, batteries, charger are all so so...anyhow, let's see what everyone has...

I remember a year or two back...I-Clubbers use to bring their RC's out...
I'm not sure if this is the correct venue or if it is even appropriate for this particular meet location, but I would still like to see everyone's cars and what they can do with them...

The Kunia meet is actually not bad. There's that little parking area near the bank that we can "designate" as the 1/10 Auto-X track. As long as we can park a little ways away from the action. Gas powered RC = 20+ mph = out of control = damage to some expensive wheels. <<< Hahaha. Never did see security there either...or at least they never did bother.

Everytime we go to Kunia, doesn't it seem a bit crowded to do this? Even at the bank...i think the Kapolei location would be much better. Cause of the Home Depot parking lot
Im tryin to get mine running again. My aftermarket ecu crapped out and right now im using the stocker tamiya one. Since it cant handle a hotter motor, that has been sent back to stock too. Now if i can only find my charger......

Got Nitro? I got a Traxxas REVO. Might be a bit too fast for a little parking lot though. There's hardly enough room for me to open it up @ the Home Depot Parking lot in Kapolei either. Besides, I like to get dirty and do it in the dirt!

hope everything will be settled in a good way!! - Man, I wish I could bring a dorifto RC car.. Always wanted to purchase one but never got to serious about it.. I know one of my good friends are all into and go to Iwilei Costco every Friday evening to play.. Awesome thing about it is that the cops dont even bother them, only the Racers..

Ahh, booo!! I didn't make it out tonight. I could have brought my RC car out too! I've got the '04 SWRT Rally body as well as an AE86 unpainted body that I'm going to make match my car.
Using a Tamiya TB-02 chasis w/an upgraded motor (not a brushless though).
