Meals on Wheels! 11/25/04 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Just wanted to see if anyone wanted to come and help the Lanakila Meals on Wheels program this thursday!
When: Thursday, November 25, 2004
Where: Meet at the Hungry Lion Restaurant Parking Lot!
Time: 7:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
15 volunteers needed to deliver meals to elderly in the Kalihi area. Help at
one of the oldest Meals On Wheels Programs in Hawaii on Thanksgiving Day.
Routes and addresses printed for you. Prefer three people per car (one to
drive, one to navigate, one to do the delivery). Your donated gas, mileage
and time is appreciated (tax deductible).
I need a Navigator and Deliverer but we can switch off jobs. Also, anyone else that wants to come can put together a team or just come and we'll work it out in the morning! This is a great way to help some elderly and disadvantaged people receive a warm thanksgiving meal! Help us spread the joy of caring this thursday!

meals on wheels helped feed my grandmother and my wifes grandmother for years.

Bring 'em both I guess...If we only need one of your cars, the other one can be parked at Kuakini Hospital (there's a parking lot in there that doesn't charge) or at my office which is just down the road.

I'll do it. I think I can get Jayson to help too. I'm not for sure. I have to see how everything goes with my car today. I will not drive my car, but I have a truck that would work.
