Anyone on Maui want to do a GTG (aka get together)?

We haven't had one in a while and I know Donaudi is getting ready to sell his car. Also, I've been seeing more Subys on Maui's roads.

Hey guys,

Here on maui right now. Visiting from the Bay Area with my family. Are there many I-clubbers on Maui? Don't have a suby as a rental, but I managed a Turbo Diesel Jetta. Haha, it runs on Biodiesel, and it's a manual.

How long you here for? On the 29th there is going to be a test and tune day at the track. I'll be there as well as Ed.

 

biodiesel? wesson oil? waste oil? interesting--- i'd go to krispy kreme... "i'll have a dozen glazed and 10 gallons of waste oil please"

Too soon and I'll be too busy getting ready for the SCCA event.

 

I'll be here till the 2nd. What track? I know of the drag strip, moto, and go cart track. What's the deal with the test and tune? I'd like to test and tune the rental

 

Its the same one, the scca track is kinda off to the left of the drag strip. There is another bio diesel jetta that run also, he put up some pretty good times.

I might try to make it. Any one know if I have to preregister, or I can sign up at the track? I also need a helmet as I am here on vacation. Anyone have a loaner I could use.

Oh yeah, went to the maui SCCA fourum and saw the Jetta guy.

You can register at the track, as for helmets there are loners.

 

Bumping this up. I'll talk to diddy at the races and see what would be a good day.

 

Any more info on the GTG ? It's almost the end of the year , with the rainy season knocking on our doors . Thanks ...........
