Possibly but I haven't seen a person pulled over just for an exhaust in a while.

It's more of an add-on to your speeding tickets.

Plus, your exhaust isn't THAT loud...I hear much louder every night at home

no recon, loud exhaust, really ugly shirt or hair, no altezzas...

i've never really been pulled over before.. ever

 

Don't worry about it...if anything you can roll around with the silencer...I wouldn't be worried about it.

 

as far as getting recon.. i've heard that you cant even get recon right out of the factory.. because of the fogs?

 

Well I dunno about that.

Maybe the recon people really don't know much about cars...it would be funny if you brought a magazine or wireless laptop and showed the recon people that the fogs are stock.

Anyways, don't worry about it.

 

Pete I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just don't rip down Kalakaua, most people who get pulled over for exhaust usually get pulled over in Waikiki. Like Blake said it is usually a tag that is added on when you get pulled over for something else. Just don't be a D*ck to the cop (you're a nice guy so I dont see that as a problem), and you should be alright. I'd say you could call me but Im only going to work for HPD for another month, so not too much help. Laters.

 

hmm i getcha..

but.. i work in waikiki 4 days a week.. and i take my daily waikiki drives at about 9pm to get to waikiki trade center.. and then at 2 am through kuhio ave to the zoo to get home to kaimuki...

oh yeah.. i drove right past 3 cops at different times tonight.. nothing happened.. so i guess i'm good for now.. one cop even pulled up next to me at a stoplight and nodded his head..

i think i have more brains to rip it through kalakaua at 2am..
