I don't know... If you guys had 50 grand to spend for a car, would you go for the M3 or get an STI and a big chunk of change? I love my STI, IMHO I don't think the M3 is that awesome. If it had the performance of a Z06 or E-55, it would be a different story. Horsepower war is on right now though. What I really want is 911 turbo performance at 50k price. Maybe the next M3!

STi's are AMAZING vehicles with SERIOUS bang for the buck. With that being said - the M3 is just super SEX-AY.

Yeah, if I was in a logical mood STI all the way, but as Rich said the friggin M3s are so damn sexy. I just cant get enough of them, even the new 330s and such. I gotta have one. The silver ones have me sold...

330's are not that impressive. I rode in/drove a friend of mine's autotragic 330. It didn't impress me over my IS300. The M3 on the other hand though...

I'll get a hell of a lot more looks in an M3 then I would in a STi.

Im thinking looks not performance. I hear they are gutless, but I think they look awesome. I also like the IS300 tho. Would be a hard call, but would probably go with the IS and hop it up a bit.

I couldnt compare the 330 to the M3. I would agree though, that the 330 feels gutless compared to the IS300 my bud let me drive. Although the IS300 did feel gutless compared to the 300hp M3 I drove.
