I took a look last weekend for this bolt to plug the bung in my uppipe (TXS cat-less). Neither Home Depot nor Lowe's had this mystery bolt. Does anyone have any recommendations for somewhere on island that would have this?

i second that. they have everything.

 

You also might try NAPA if there's one near you. I was looking for an 8mm x 1.0 the other day, and all Lowe's had was 8mm x 1.25 stuff. Later that day I was at NAPA and sure enough they had drawers for both 8x1.0 and 8x1.25 - score!

th 12 x 1.25 is VERY hard to find.
but I know that Kilgo's has it in a few sizes, but it is not stainless.

 

Try West Marine across the street from Kilgos. They have some SS bolts for boats. Give them a call and see if they have any in stock.

Also if Hawaii Nut & Bolt doesn't have it, you probably won't be able to find it on the island.
