if they are for your FXT, Get 2010 WRX Springs and you can keep the Forester Struts.
The 2008 STI have horrible Spring rates. I put me on mine and I quickly took them off.
I just bought some WRX 2010 Springs 1 week ago and they feel so much better. Height is awesome too.

Hey Lorenzo, can you post or text me some pics? So the ride is noticeably better than the Sti springs? I would've thought the Sti springs would have better spring rates. How was the height affected? Higher or lower?

I will post some pictures today....
The height is about 2 fingers gap in the front and 3 finger gap in the back.
It might be because of the 19in Rims but I like the drop and the Ride.
08 STI suspension was horrible so in 2009-2010 they upgraded the Spring rate.
I should have took pictures of both springs next to eachother to show everyone the difference.

The 2008, 09, and 10 STI have the same spring rates. The 2010 STI SE has stiffer front and rear springs and larger anti-roll bars. The 2011 STI has rear springs even stiffer than the 2010 STI. I have not found anything that says the spring rate was increased in 09-10 for the STI. What info do you have saying the 09-10 STI has stiffer springs? I know the WRX spring rate and anti-roll bars were changed from 08 to 09.

^^^you can look at the Springs and tell that they are not the same. Like I said before I should have taken pictures but I was too excited at the time and I wanted to just install them.
Daniel (AccordnWrx DD) can Vouch for me and say that the springs are not the same.

IIRC these spring were also the same now on the 09-10 sti's.

Notably, the new, stiffer suspension tuning did not require any further reinforcement of the inherently strong Impreza body structure.
