Leaving Hawaii

Well guys, its official I will be leaving very soon My orders are in and I will be getting out of the marines on the May 29th and flying out on June 3rd. Unfortunately I have too much going on to make it to the meet this week and the car is being shipped the middle of next week although if i can i will try and stop by next week with "the loaner" If I dont see you guys again before I fly out I just want you all to know that it has been great getting to know all of you and there have been some really good times. The hospitality that all the I-club members have shown has been so great, especially through the depressing time I went through with my surgery and all. You guys are great and you can be sure that I will be lurking in the Hawaii forrums every day from back in Michigan. Shakas for all of you!!!

Mike

I'm sad to see you leave Mike, If I don't get the chance to see you again, You and the wife take care of yourself. I really appreciate the support you given me after my accident, and for the short time I've known you, your a great fella. Take care of youself and don't forget about your extended family here in HIIC.

I would definitly like to do something before we go. maybe we can do a bbq or somethin, i dunno. or maybe 1 more random install day for old times sake lol. like i said i will definitly keep in touch with everyone on HIIC and hopefully can come visit someday. hopefully i can find some auto-x or track days at home, i'm finally happy with the setup of the car for the most part.

hey mike, sorry to see you go bro, but like you said, you are going to the "greener" pastures with auto-x or track days... you will be missed, but thru this forum, you will be close by. good luck to you and your wife!

dang Mike, sad to see you go...but i'd give anything to rally in the snow, or throw donuts on a frozen lake. Now you can run the 1/4 mile when it's like 30 degrees outside. your suby will love it.

I wish you and your wife the best in the future. It was nice getting to know you over this past year. All of us are just a mouse click away! Oh, and by the way, I'm already looking into another set of wheels. In fact, I think I'll be ptting a deposit down tomorrow. The next wheel ***** you meet in Michigan, think of me!

No offense to the awesome people that run SCCA in HI but the facilities we can find out here are way better.

Go on www.myautoevents.com to find all the Auto-x you need.
