last minute advice

i know this has been gone over a million times but i need to know asap what the correct offset for an 8.5 inch wheel is or if that is even do-able... i just ordered my cusco zero2r's and now im about to order a set of advan rc2's and i need the correct offset so i dont screw it up. thanks guys. just wondering if it is still a 48 with that wide of a rim.

also ordered bfg gforce kdw 2's i ordered 225/45/17 will that fit on a 8.5 inch rim? or should i go with 7.5? thanks again

Do you really want 8.5 on a wagon? Are you gonna roll your fenders? From what I have researched 7.5 is plenty wide enough. Check out this thread.
Good choice on tires. When my tires lose their tread those be the ones Im getting too.

thanks a lot dan. from what i hear the wider the better so id like to cram all i can under there. might have to get the fenders rolled.

I'd check out the weight difference between the 8.5's and the 7.5's. More weight is more the car has to push. Also if you're gonna go that wide why not get 235's?

its hard to find wheels in a 7.5 that will clear a bbk. yeah if i do go with an 8.5 ill have to cancel my order to tirerack and get some 235's i think. still looking for good rims in the 4-5 hundred dollar range in a 7.5 that will clear bbk. any suggestions?

Check out Rota, I know a lot of the guys in here have 'em. The 7.5's clear the STi brembos, so you should be safe with clearance. Which bbk are you lookin at? Rotas are relatively cheap, and have only heard good things about em. Check out subydude.com

Im rockin' the STi wheels on my wagon, and am livin the happy life.

yeah those look sweet on the rally blue wagon. ill check out the rotas. probably going with the rotora bbk.

haha nah. my grandma loved me tho. so far im stuck at zero2r's and kdw2's also dan thanks for the info on the ap's. just pm'd the guy about picking up the ap and cat back.
