forgot to mention this weekend on lani guess what i saw. rightout side of the airport i was greeted by a 04 WRX. i was totally surprised to see a wrx there considering the island is so empty. so i guess they are tearing it up on the backroads over there.

 

A WRX? You sure it wasn't 2.5RS rental? Did it have a hood scoop?

 

yeah the hood scoop is what caught my eye first since it was facing the baggage claim. then i looked at the rest of the car from a distance but didn't stop to really check it out since i didn't want to miss my shuttle bus. so it might of been a an 04 RS with a WRX hood but don't think someone would do that so soon with a RS especially on lani. sorry i didn't get a better look but i don't think there is even a taxi company on lani so i wasn't intending on missing my shuttle bus. the next day my friend said he said saw it when we were on the shuttle but couldn't dentify if it was an RS or a WRX since we were going opposite directions and it just caught his eye as it flew by.

 

Hehe last time I was on Kaua'i I saw about 5 GDA 2.5RS renters in about an hour and a half. One by the port at Nawiliwili, two on the way to Koloa, and another two in Koloa itself. Had no idea Impreza's were so popular for renters there
