I wonder if they make an FXT application. I'm sure the tubing will fit just fine, but the heatshield probably won't seal up against the ceiling of my hood properly.

Question

I swear I read somewhere that these figures are misleading. Something about the ECU not having enough time to compensate for the additional airflow causing a temporary lean condition. You know what they say: "Leaner is meaner." He did mention in the post that the air/fuel stayed the same but the change could have been subtle enough (12 hp gain) to not be picked up by the A/F/02 sniffers. *shrug*

In addition, I find it curious that Vishnu prefers to tune Subie's that have the factory intake.

Then again, what the hell do I know, I'm just a former Mustang owner that's a n00b Subie owner.

I did stay at a Holiday Inn once...

If the ECU didn't see the change because it is so small then there isn't really anything to worry about...Aron, that site http://www.imprezawrxsti.com/postnuke/ has a little more tech info and the best thing it's all STI related...

I've had the k&n CAI for while now and love it. Really sounds better than stock, the gulping sound of the turbo is sick and it also comes with a "sleeve" that protects the filter from getting dirt and water in it and prolongs filter life.
