I just ordered my Defi BF gauges with the control unit. I got the Oil Pressure, Oil Temp, and EGT... I know that some of you fellow i-clubbers are running Defi BF gauges and was wondering if it was at all difficult or somewhat difficult to install the gauges and control unit!! Andy from HopUpracing told me that it will arrive at my doorsteps on Monday so I cant wait.

I wanted to get a set of Defi guages for my ride too.....but no one seem's to be intrested in buying my right kidney.......So, I might just get the boost guage for now

 

the control unit is easy to hook up. Just wire it to the wires for the clock (there are only 4 wires and they are labeled where it plugs into the clock...so you cant really mess up). I dont know how hard the gauges will be to install since i just have boost right now. Can you take some step by step pictures for oil pressure and EGT? I'm going to be getting those soon.

 

Ok guys. I just checked my tracking number for my Defi gauges and they finally arrived in Honolulu @11:41pm from Balwin Park, California... So should anticipate to receive my gauges later on today...HOORAY HOORAY... Cant wait to try an install them.

 

Like MBasile^^^above, I only have the Defi BF Amber Boost Gauge...

What's cool about these gauges are that they all daisy chain together so they and the control unit should be an easy install...

Not so sure about all the sensors...I haven't seen them installed so??? I would think this would be the pain part of the install...especially pulling the wires through that dreaded firewall plug...which probably (if it is like mine) FULL OF WIRES!!!!

Could you share your trials and tribulations with everyone aboutthe install? I was considering addng another gauge, either a EGT or Oil Pressure...but was wondering about the sensor install...
