I notice a few Evo's that have to impress people with their BOV's too. Hmm.. IIRC, bov's on an evo isn't that great either, don't you run rich?
But mostly SRT-4's have to give their efforts to impress.
I know WRX'es are high stock but SRT-4's got some mean ground clearance when looking from behind. Not to mention some mean front rake?

well, look at it this way, any time you get revved, its a sign of respect (IMHO). SRT-4s arent that bad...they ARE fast...as for the ricers, its more jealousy and stupidity. the EVOs...not sure. they have alot to talk about, no need for that ****. just my thoughts. takes a big man to back down from a challenge...i wont lie, ive given in before, but now i just sit and laugh at them.

It's in the culture. I've noticed the Subie community is generally more responsible/mature and if they aren't, they get "fixed". It doesn't seem to be the case with SRT-4 or Civic owners. In fact on the forums that I've seen, goofyness seems to be encouraged. The Evo thing is unusual to me. In California, the Evo drivers seemed just like the Subie drivers. They didn't have to "prove" anything to anybody. It's one of the biggest things that I appreciate about the I-clubbers. They're (we're) not retards. We know the difference between track and street. And what kind of driving belongs on each. My $0.02.
