Jic Exhaust

Anybody have a JIC 505S Ti Series exhaust on their wrx?

Is it even worth the money!

Don't know about the Jic,

the only Ti exhaust I've considered is the Kakimoto Ti. Both are pricey, and the Kakimoto is really loud. Not sure if it comes with a silencer tip.

So you wouldn't go with JIC?

I like the fact that its very light under 10lbs I think

but yup sure is costly

Didn't say I wouldn't

go with Jic, just said the only Ti exhaust I'd considered was the Kakimoto. For what it's worth, people on-line have reported the Kakimoto Ti weighs around 8lbs. And the last exhaust turboback shootout had the Kakimoto Ti showing the most impressive numbers. Just my $0.02 Mileage varies.

If their exhaust is like their coilovers I wouldn't buy it. Low quality....

Yep, I've also heard on the "web" that those really light exhausts brake really easy.

I assume you're both speaking of

Jic, as I've never heard of Kakimoto suspension.

wow thats the first time i heard anyone say anything bad about JIC. Ive never owned anything from them...but all the folks who owned RSXs loved the JIC coilovers way more then the Teins. As for the exhausts, i hadnt heard anything bad. Glad this thread came about...i was thinking about a JIC Ti exhaust system. Anyone know anything about the BuddyClub Spec III system for the WRX?

No one has had problems with their Tein's. Plus Tein has a US great US office that can do repairs. Oh and they have a lifetime warranty, I think.

No one was talking about Tein ... He asked about JIC exhaust, I was just saying that JIC I think along with other that JIC sucks.. In less than a year I pesonally know three people that have had issues with their JIC coilovers, thats to many issues in a short period, in such a small area. That tells me they have quality control issues.
