Does anyone know if jdmpartstx.com went out of business or just moved to a new website?

I think the guy has fallen off of the radar. The site wasn't updated for parts for awhile, and then all of a sudden it was gone. It's a shame though, I was able to get an immaculate set of version 7s when he was in business. I was also looking to get the Spec C wing and rear seat w/pass through. Hope he gets the business back together. It was a great place to get JDM parts.

If it's any consolation, I know these guys have been in business for a long time, although I have no personal experience with them:

Steve and I sold the business several years ago to a guy named John out on the east coast. He kept it up and running for quite a while. However, I think about a year ago he was looking to sell the company. He was either successful and the new owner(s) are working on something, or he didn't find a buyer and he just gave up on it.

Sad to see it went away... I used to drool on those sweet sweet JDM parts. Actually I did order a Spec C I/C from you guys.

I have experience with japanparts.com. I bought a brand new complete set of S202 badges from them. They actually got the badges from a dealership in Japan and drop shipped them directly to my house here in CA. Prices were reasonable, even when you consider shipping costs. They were interested in what the badges were going onto, so I chatted with some of the guys there for awhile about my plans for my car, and they were all really cool and helpful. They even asked me to send a picture of my car to them once I had gotten it finished.

+1

Unfortunately, dealerships don't seem to do this anymore. I've tried a few separate dealerships for different "S" series badges and they're all no-go unless I have proof of ownership. Even my friend who works at Tokyo Subaru Sumida can't help me with this one...

Eventually I'll figure something out though...
