those still are pretty much all that we do. the only problem i have with going to one of those cruises is i don't personally know the people. it's not that i'm aginst meeting new peeps, just i don't know how they are gonna act in public. i believe it has been stated on here many times that we are a club who believes in "positive" driving. not that any of them are bad guys just i have heard some things and i don't think that is the kind of activity i want to be a part of. just my $0.2 but i'll stick with the i-club schedual for cruises. have fun and be safe. well, skepticism is all fine and dandy, but if you ask any one of our members that regularly attends these cruises what goes on, im sure you'll be quite pleased to know that nothing of consequence actually happens. I'm not the kind of person that endorses, promotes, or otherwise tolerates bad "driving" habits during gatherings such as ours. I actually got burned for doing the frickin speed limit at our last outing by the wonderfully intelligent and hipocritical folks on ForumsHawaii.

You are indeed entitled to "assume" other things occur, but i ask you not to judge us until you "actually" attend one of our functions. After all, its not fair to me, or the rest of us. Considering that I am willing to come out and be the scared chicken at one of your meets, and even volunteer to help with the Meals on Wheels outing just to get to know some of you a little better, i think it would do most of you some good to come out and be social with other clubs.

I'm not going to say we're all saints, and lord knows im far from being "holy" or superior to anyone or anything in existence, but i am a nice guy and i'm as straightforward and blunt as it gets. Bottom line, is that we have fun without doing "bad" things. Matrix Owners is all about family and we all look out for one another. Be it on the forums, or in real life. We stick together and help each other.

I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised "if" you decide to attend. I'm certainly not going to sit here and sugarcoat anything for you... im just telling you like it is.

Happy Motoring!

Plus, I think that the "G-O-T" has narrowed down the clubs that he invites according to their maturity. Seems to me that he goes for the groups that are car enthusiasts rather than stupid asses.

I'll see if I can make it closer to the day of.

it's not that i am assuming anything. i know someone with a matrix and who is on matrixowners and he personally told me of some of the shenanigans that go on. i mean ripping it through a parking lot and saying your warming up your tires for the cruiz? come on man. whether or not that happened idk for sure, i wasn't there. my friend told me this but i have known him for a while and is a good guy. thats not the kind of stuff i want to hear about a guy who's trying to get me to bring my car withing ten miles of his car. who knows, i may come out and see. just be aware of what you do when your on the road.
