Welcome to 4 years ago for us. 38 months with the State of California and I've only received 3 full paychecks.
Not so bad getting extra day(s) off if you can adjust financially, but that's a big "if" for some.

It's not just the public sector, the private sector is not new to furloughs...and the state legislature has the gall to give themselves a raise on top of back-raises that can be as much as 35%...wth?

Dude the contractors and civilans i work with make me cringe. they get paid more then i do, and do way less work WTF is up with that....

This is where my wife falls too...Our elected officials would never miss giving themselves a raise, but can't agree on anything else.

its looking like a furlough for army civilians as well.
