Lol... your car, your choice... don't forget that too.

they cant ticket you for a loud exhaust its no longer a recon item..just press the clutch in when u drive by a cop..thats what i do, just so they wont hassle me

i'm still 50/50 on the choices :-(

I think i can still get pulled over for excessive noise from the exhaust but not recon for the exhaust.

yeah, pretty sure if the cop wants to be a jerk he'll pull you over because you're loud, then just cite you for anything else that he can.

i still say street. it's loud enough that you can hear your nice boxer rumble, but not so loud that you're gonna **** off your neighbors when you come home/leave in the wee hours.

Loud exhaust or soft, if a cop wants to pull you over he will.

If you think resonator is no good or not loud enough with it...
Just remove it and install a straight pipe...

Ended up with the street version, and it's LOUD. Put it on myself, chee. Now just being paranoid about leaks. I can't tell if I'm hearing a leak or boost building up. :-( I'm hitting peak boost just fine though, no cracks and pops so she's holding up pretty well. Smell is pretty funky from all the oils and stickers I guess. So hopefully one of you can ride in my car to listen for exhaust leak at WOT. Shoots!

Paranoid? what else is new?.....on a serious note look for black soot where all the connections are or you could use some soapy water in a spray bottle and spray the connection ares while the car is running....

if it's not leaking at idle, would that mean I'm good? Or is it possible to still leak while driving but not at idle?

It's a catback Jay, it won't leak unless you didn't put bolts on it. It's just your turbo spooling that you can hear now. Glad you went with the street version, I'm sure its plenty loud still!
