Anyone want to place an oreder for one? I'm ordering one for my friend this week.
Maybe we could save shipping or lower the cost with a possible group buy?

Called Vishnu and...
Plug-and-Play is still not available for the STi.
Xedes for the WRX are back ordered for at least two weeks.
It's likely that Shiv won't visit unless Hawaii has an AWD dyno.
I still like their style of tuning so I can wait a little longer.

I want a XEDE for the STi when it becomes available. Because the UTEC might take longer to come out. Thanks.

Stolen from Vishnu's post on "that other board":
The STi XEDE is the same exact XEDE we use for the 2.0 WRX. Fortunately, FHI changed next to nothing when it came to crank position sensors/crank teeth config, MAF type, sensor ranges, etc,. The only feature we don't use yet is the TPS adjustment table since the STi doesn't have the silly 60% closed/open loop switchover trait that the 2.0 WRX is plagued with. We do intend to use it eventually. But not for open/closed loop tweaking. Instead, we'll use it for remapping the throttle-by-wire system, changing the relationship between actual pedal position and throttle opening angle But since the XEDE is the same XEDE we've used in the WRX, they are available now in wire-in configuration. There is no plug-in harness available yet and there probably won't be for a few months. There is another option that we are looking into in the short term which will eliminate the need to cut wires. But we need a bit more time to test it out.

I'd wait. I'm sure Vishnu wants to get a p-n-p version of the Xede for the STi as sson as possible. They are still a business that wants to make sales, but I think they are waiting for Chip Torque, the Xede manufacturers, to develope the harness.

Price of the Xede went up TODAY!
Actually, Vishnu added the Xmap with the package instead of selling it separately.
Good thing I ordered my friend's Xede yestereday before the price change.
