For those interested in individual parts (bumpers, hoods, etc) pricing would depend on how much interest there is and we can determine that later - IF THERE'S ENOUGH INTEREST SHIPPING PRICES WILL BE LOWER FOR INDIVIDUAL PIECES and details will be posted with shipping adjustments. Pricing could also improve slightly on lip kits, if there's enough interest since we can fit more than 2 full kits per box.

Some of you have mentioned interest in bodykits from Chargespeed, and we've done our research into both bringing these products in direct from Japan and dealing with Chargespeed USA. After throwing the numbers around, we've made the proper moves to contact Chargespeed USA and may be on the verge of opening up an account and becoming the local dealer for Chargespeed here in Hawaii.
From what we can see, these are very affordable kits for 2004 Subaru (some pieces interchangeable between GDA and GDB) and if we do decide to push through with this we can offer these kits to local Subie owners at affordable prices. From online searching, we've found a lot of retailers to be marking these items up stratospherically high.
Full lip kits are priced below $1k, while full bumper kits would be less than $1200! Compared to other JDM kits we market this kind of pricing is quite excellent. Exact pricing is still being figured out.
What we'd like to do is gauge interest from local Subies who would actually seriously purchase a kit for their cars? We will probably offer special introductory pricing on our initial shipment from Chargespeed and are just finishing setting up shipping with a local freighting company that will be shipping products for us from the mainland at low prices that we can pass onto our customers (for all the stuff we ship in from the mainland - no more UPS/FedEx air if we can help it!).
On another good note, things are finally starting to move forward with BOZZ performance and we should have better news on more "hard performance" parts for you guys. We also recently became authorized dealers for Do-Luck, TEIN, and 5-Zigen and should have Subaru parts in stock soon from Do-Luck. We're finalizing our dealer setup with RS*R this week also. Our stock of Cusco is nearly gone, and I think we only have 1 rear bar left for GDA/GDB.

From the looks of things, the hoods will be around $700. Carbon trunks in the mid-$600 area.
I can tell you that we're looking to sell the kits themselves very affordably. For full Type-1 lip kits around $800 or so. For Type-2 Full Bumper replacement kits in the mid-$1100's.
As mentioned before we're planning to offer introductory pricing on our initial order of Chargespeed aero products, so we'll help you guys out who've been starving to get these kits but can't see spending the dough other places are charging for them. We were really shocked to see the kind of price gouging that's going on for this stuff with some Subie retailers.
I can't take a huge discount off with this introductory sale, but we'll do our best to make miracles happen so you'll definitely get prices cheaper than you'll find online anywhere, and we'll apply a discount to anything Chargespeed offers, even if it's just an individual part -- but we'll definitely need to see ppl jump in on this to get this going.
Hmmm just as a toss up with numbers off the top of my head:
5 buyers for Carbon hoods at $650
5 buyers for V.1 lip kits at $750
5 buyers for V.2 full bumper kits at $1000
5 buyers for carbon trunks at $575
...and what we could do is offer group buy discount on v.1 and v.2 kits if we have 5 buyers total for the kits, not necessarily 5 of each. For carbon hoods and trunks we can try doing the same thing, 5 buyers total for either hoods or trunks. If we can actually hit more than 5 buyers, we'll try to run an even bigger discount depending how much more than 5 we have.
Chargespeed also offers kits/hoods for GC8 and Legacy as well, and if there's interest in those kits discounted pricing will be available as well. Of course, if we can't get enough ppl going for a group buy, we'll still offer a discount sale.
In regards to shipping, we're still looking into how much shipping a kit from Chargespeed will cost our consumers, but we'll definitely be looking for the best way to keep shipping costs to a minimum so you guys can save money. We'll have to talk to our freighting company and Chargespeed to get solid details.

Price for that piece is in the mid-$400 range, but we can do group buy pricing on that piece as well - maybe $395 with 5 buyers? However, if you combine that with a complete kit we can prolly work out a pretty sweet deal on it anyway.

Everything will be offered at a discounted price this time around, but greater prices are to be had if there is enough participation to actually make a group buy possible. Plus, we hope there to be greater savings in shipping for each individual buyer since everything from this buy will be shipped in one big bulk shipment.
Being that it's Christmas and New Year's and all, we know ppl are having a hard time and we won't be pushing this GP through immediately. We'll try to give ppl time to join in. Money won't be necessary until the group buy limit is accomplished, or if it fails and we'd just need to offer discounted sale pricing.
I also see that there's interest in individual pieces, like bumpers and skirts, so what I'll do is take a look at pricing tonight and throw up group pricing for ala carte items as well - with a 5 individual piece requirement for group buy pricing (i.e. 5 TOTAL either: bumpers, skirts, lips, wing extensions).
Just let us know if you want to be added to the list for a part/kit/whatevers. I'll start one later tonight.
