Installed my AVO BOV on my leggy tonite

Real simple unless your an idiot like me. Install time about 1 hour+ 20 min test drive

~Remove the engine cover (simple 5 min)
~I unbolted the stock BOV from the top of the intercooler, removing the stock clamp was the hard part (10 min.)
~then when to install the avo. Like an idiot I droped the gasket into the motor and spent (30 min fishing it out.)
~got the gasket aligned it and installed the AVO BOV and bolted it all up (10 min)

This normally would have been no longer than 30 min, but I decied to do it at 10 at night with minimal lighting. What can I say when I get a new part in, Im like a little kid at Xmas. I want it out of the box and on my car so I can play.

Test drive went well, it seemed to hold boost better (this could be mental). The BOV sound is very very mild at 50/50 you can only hear it if you listen for it. Being that its auto you dont get much sound, but when you really get on it and let off the gas, you hear a light pshhhh.

I bought it for $125 so what can I say.....

I hear you on the whole wanting to install it right when you get it thing.

I almost did my UP, DP, Y-pipe and Heatshield right away but waited for a better day when I would have a few extra hands to get it all done.

You two dingle-berries are getting install days mixed up.

We did the UP at Jayson's house at MCBH...then they took the Mitsi out for it's final hurrah...with McDonald's trays and craziness.

Justin broke my Front Sway Bar bolt on the 24 hour install day at Josh's parent's house...the same night of the "tree-pwnage" and "the hole". You remember, that was the night that Nate-Dogg almost got "Rodney Kinged" by the HPD because he was acting like himself
