Thumbs up install day pics

items were installed other day with friends...enjoy the pics

items installed:

SPP power slotted front/rear rotors with hawk hps front/rear pads/top fill ata blue.

HID kit from racefactory 6k (eh $100 lifetime warrenty had to try em out)

unamused sticker ( thanks josh)

1.the front rotors has that white spray i'm told by speedelement it's the coating to protect the rust (eventually it'll go away).ok

2. as you can see the new pads and the old one's are just about the same. i changed my pads awhile ago and decided to just get new one's since im there(thanks jimi for throwing that in my head)..haha

3. a few shots after being driven around.

4.didnt really take a pic of the hid kit.however i did happen to find a nice secret spot for the ballast where its hiding. all u need is a self tapin screw that's it. the kit bolted up fine just plug and play. i'll get a nite shot tonite. all i need in projectors now(ouch on the wallet)...

5.unamused sticker....thanks josh !!!!

overall:

rotors/pads:
it was a simple install everything fit perfect. still breaking in but noticed a slight diff not a big one.

hids: super bright aim kinda low so not blinding anyone.simple plug and play

Mmmm. new parts.

How you like the headlights? Big difference over stock ya?

By the way just wondering but are your taillights tinted?

I thought I might've seen your car taking the kunia offramp but not sure if it was you.

Might've been your twin if not.

Just wondering.

Shoots.

haha my car's doing O.K jus hanging in there!

Unfortunately no new parts. Just trying to keep em fresh clean so I can enjoy it.

You know what I think you have a twin in kunia. His is an 02-03' but I think he works in shipyard / somewhere on the navy base. His taillights are blacked out, gold rims but not advans. Also just 17's not 18's.

Your RG's are mean though. 18's mo' betta'. I think if I was in a different tax bracket I wouldn't have gotten Rotas. ahah

Keep the parts coming, your car is lookin good yo. peace.

thanks blake...good to hear everything going good with you bro...

808lgt : here is what i pulled from the racefactory site about the HIDs:

The case is completely sealed equipped with waterproof seals and
a special air vent system for cooling. Also, our ballasts do not require a seperate ignitor so there is less clutter and wires like those higher priced "slim" ballast systems.

dave yes they do make applications for your sti. check out gruppe-s. i went threw speedelement only cause gruppe-s was outah stock. reason for that is stoptech bought out power slot and it was back ordered. give them a call.
