I ended up picking up another scanner (had to pull a code on my STi). I'm usually around during the evenings.

It turns out my car is throwing a P0546. I did a search here in I-club and its the up-pipe thats causing it and the resistor mod can take care of it. Just want to clarify before I do the mod.
