hey guys.. my name is juno and ive own a 2001 sentra.. ive been a part of the b15sentra.net and my sn is kscsentragtr.. anyways in about a week im gonna trade in my car for a 2004 WRX... well right now im in japan and i just went to a shop called autobocs and i bought a apexi turbo timer for about 80 dollars... and i was wondering if i would have to buy a bypass harnesss because the guy that worked there said that i might need one to insall the turbo timer... is that true??? oh and also would i need to tap into my ecu to install my turbo timer?

Welcome. Yes you need some sort of turbo timer harness specifically for a subaru. It costs roughly $15-$25 and will allow you to install the TT, without cutting any ignition wires.

should i just buy the bypass harness thing here or should i just wait till i go back to hawaii to buy it... the only thing im afraid of is that i might have bought a japanese TT and that it wouldnt fit in my car or i would need some kind of converter thing (i dunno) to make it fit in a american WRX.. i might not be making sence right now (lol)
