I think they're all great choices...but it really depends what you're looking for.
If you want a good looking car, thats pretty rare, and offers decent performance....check out the R32 (my boss has a blue one, nice car
). But in stock form its definitely not in the same category as the other two
If you want the most performance under $45k or so get an Evo or STI. But please dont pay over MSRP for an Evo

Are you looking for all out speed/power? Or are you looking for a great daily driver? The R32 is way better built than the other two, but lacks in performance (as it weighs about the same as 2 original GTIs), and the other two.....well, you know the story there. IMO, I'd go for the STi.
depends what you want to do with it. i'd probably go with the evo or sti. are you still going to keep the bes?
actually, get an 05 sti. that way i won't have to be the only guinea pig for mod'ing the 05's.

Definitley the R32, gotta get the R32, mmmhuh R32! I was just reading about that thing, and it is an AutoX king! What prices do the R32's run? It is definitley higher class that the STi as in luxury. Stock the EVO, and STi come with more power, but I think the R32 sounds pretty awesome.

the r32 is sexy. but its a mammoth! 3400 lbs!
the torque looks nice- 236@2800 <-- wow
but i'm not overly impressed with the performance numbers though.
and its not a big deal...but when i looked t it there was no spare... just a
fix-a-flat kit-with a pump. i guess the rear diff is too big to fit a spare tire well?

i liked the r32, almost bought one, but yes it was waaaay overpriced.
Dean to me it seemed like you want to go big or go home, just from following your WRX build up and talking to you.
I would say go with the EVO, just because it doesnt take much to make that sucker go fast, and the aftermarket is very generous to the EVO as well. (dotn know about the current pricing here)
The R32 is NA, and is still slighty newer than the other 2. aftermarket parts might be far and few between, and expensive.
And as much as I loved my subaru, im not a brand specific type of person. There are so many other cars out there to enjoy, I thought why make my next car a subaru? Try something different, and I havent looked back since

I really like the R32
. I guess I'm getting old and the big wings, scoops and vents don't appeal to me as much anymore. I'm not ready to get rid of my WRX yet but I'm just looking ahead to my next car.
