Gas is $3.85 today for 93 octane in the mid-west. I also found a gas station that sells 94 octane for another 10 cents. Kind of a weird thing seeing 94 octane right next to 93...I guess some people REALLY NEED 94.

Holy crap gas went down again at Costco......#3.47 for premium and $3.23 for regular. at this rate regular will be below $3.00 in a few weeks. how is costco beating the average Hawaii gas companies by like 60 cents?

The cheapest Shell gas station I've seen was at Kapolei shell at 4.09 for vpower. The rest were at 4.19/gal.

Whole sale lol. Costco rules. Couple weeks ago took me 50 bucks from 1/4 tank to fill up. This past weekend 40 bucks. I like.

OK smart people whats Nov 5?

I hear Costco beats hawaii gas stations a little in a lot of ways. Costco membership fees go towards the gas purchase and they use some of their profits to offset the gas prices.
Another is gas stations in hawaii are known gaugers. Right now thy are saying that they purchased the gas they are selling now for the higher price so they are charging the higher price. But they always say this and the prices never go down so I think they are just enjoying themselves.

I only fill up once a month at this point so I am lucky.

Ok I am not going to make fun of you cause I know you
know what Nov 4th is

Gas prices are supposed to go back up in the next day or two according to market experts. It is only cheap right now because the market crashed... again...

But from what i read the fuel in hawaii is purchased in quantities 3 months at a time. So prices should drop for another 3 months, provided we don't suffer the price gouging that this state is known for. Then yeah, enjoy it while it lasts. And BTW, we have winter gas now. My monitoring of hypermiling has noticed a drop in fuel economy.
Not that anyone here hypermiles their subaru, but maybe their DD.
